A Day of Thanks
Brent’s parents came to spend Thanksgiving with us.
It’s always nice to have family for the holidays.
The kids helped set the table.
Our feast, as always, included turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, gravy, orange jello salad, cranberry sauce and stuffing.
Like good Americans.
Those commercials with the families eating fresh steamed veggies and white meat don’t make any sense to me.
That’s Tuesday not Thanksgiving.

I love Thanksgiving with all my heart. I love to sit quietly and feel all of the awesome mojo wafting through the air as millions of people stop, even for a moment, and count their blessings and give THANKS.
I wish every day could be Thanksgiving for the world.
I’ll start by making it every day in mine.
